The Guide #138 (Eva Perakos)

Whatever I already am I want to devote to life.  I want, deliberately, for life to make use of the best I have and am.  I may not be sure at this moment in what way this could be and even if I have ideas, I will allow for the greater intelligence and wisdom, deep within me to guide me.  I will let life itself decide in what way a fruitful interchange between it and me can take place.  For whatever I give to life I have received from it.  And I wish to return it to the great cosmic pool to bring more benefit.  This in turn must inevitably enrich my own life to the exact extent that I willingly give to it, for truly life and I are one. When I withhold from life I therefore withhold from myself, when I withhold from others, I withhold from myself, whatever I already am I want to let go and let it flow into life.  Whatever more can be utilized, waiting to be brought to fruition I request, I decide and I desire that this be put to constructive use so as to enrich the atmosphere around me

Unity Prayer of Light

I release all of my past fears, negative, human relationships and my inner self to the light, I am a light being.  I generate the light from my light center throughout my being.  I generate the light from my light center to everyone. I generate the light from my light center to everything.  I am in a bubble of light and only light can come to me and only light can be here with me.  I thank you God for everything.

Affirmation for Protection

My aura is sealed.  My mirror shield of protection is up and in full force, any energy coming to me that is not unconditional love is returned to the sender for their personal growth.

St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace:
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, union;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light!

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Prayer to St. Joan of Arc, For Faith

In the face of your enemies, in the face of harassment, ridicule, and doubt, you held firm in your faith. Even in your abandonment, alone and without friends, you held firm in your faith. Even as you faced your own mortality, you held firm in your faith. I pray that I may be as bold in my beliefs as you, St. Joan. I ask that you ride alongside me in my own battles. Help me be mindful that what is worthwhile can be won when I persist. Help me hold firm in my faith. Help me believe in my ability to act well and wisely. Amen.

Cherokee Prayer

Oh great spirit help me to always speak the truth quietly, Listen with an open mind when others speak, and remember the peace that may be found in silence.

Baha'i prayer - bahá'u'lláh

O my God! Unite the hearts of Thy servants, and reveal to them Thy great purpose. May they follow Thy commandments and abide in Thy law.
Help them, O God, in their endeavor, and grant them strength to serve Thee. O God! Leave them not to themselves but guide their steps by the light of Thy knowledge, and cheer their hearts by Thy love. Verily, Thou art their Helper and their Lord.

The Great Invocation is the third of three "stanzas"

From the point of Light within the Mind of God, Let light stream forth into the minds of men, Let Light descend on Earth.  From the point of Love within the Heart of God, Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.  May Love return to Earth.  From the center where the Will of God is known Let purpose guide the little wills of men.   The purpose which the Masters know and serve.  From the center which we call the race of men Let the Plan of Love and Light work out And may it seal the door where negativity dwells.  Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.   A longer invocation revealed by the Tibetan Master over the period 1935 to 1945.  It has become a universal prayer and is recited throughout the world by people of all religions, or of no special religion at all.

St. Theresa Novena

May today there be peace within, May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be....May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.  May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you....May you be content knowing you are a child of God....Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun....It is there for each and every one of you....

Buddhist Four Immeasurable Meditation

"May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness."
"May all beings never be without joy, free of suffering."
"May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness."
"May all beings abide in great impartiality, free of preference attachment and aversion."

Bless this Meal, Maharishi

In Thy fullness, my Lord, Filled with Thy Grace
For the purpose of union with Thee
And to satisfy and glorify Thy creation
With thanks to Thee with all our hearts
And with all our love for Thee
With all adoration for Thy blessing
We accept Thy gift as it has come to us
The food is Thy blessing, And in Thy service
We accept, In all gratitude, My Lord

Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.  Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.  And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Path of Love Rumi

With love, every fear is overcome and it no longer is a fear. What we thought would be a boundary that we couldn't trespass becomes the horizon for an exciting journey into worlds uncharted. Fear often makes us protective of something that our ego holds dear: In offering this piece of ourselves on altar of love, we perform a powerful ritual of sacrifice, sacrum facere, 'to make holy". In the sight of love every offering is sacred - what we lose of ego, we gain in heart.

Always speak from the heart, never from the mind. Your sincerity and courage will set an example for others too, and by listening to you, they will be inspired to reveal their own heart. This "heart speaking" is a spiritual practice. It means you must only tell the truth and live within your own boundaries and dimensions, without ever bragging about things you won't be able to live up to or deliver to others. Heart speaking will bring you a gift whenever you practice it: You will always be right. The heart knows but cannot tell; the mind doesn't know but can tell. Stretch yourself to speak from the heart and bypass the mind you will see miracles boomerang back into your life.

If you aren't headed briskly to the garden of love, take a moment to see why that is. Why are you not loving? Why are not being loved? Be intelligent about your life, take courage, and clear congestion that is preventing you from smelling the sweet fragrance of love. Allow the enchantment to work its magic and draw your soul to the garden. If your mind won't willingly go there, let at least your heart and soul lead you. Don't wait, make it happen right now.

Peace adopted from the Upanishads

Lead me from death to life, from falsehood to truth.

Lead me from despair to hope, from fear to trust.

Lead me from hate to love, from war to peace.

Let peace fill our heart, our world, our universe.
